About
He dreamed of being a doctor from childhood — and that dream never went away. Before medical school he graduated in Anatomical Pathology, Cytology and Thanatology and took a postgraduate course in Forensic Medical Sciences in Porto. He then went to study medicine in the Czech Republic, far from his family, an experience that taught him independence, resilience and a love of lifelong learning.
Demanding of himself and passionate about knowledge, he found in Anatomical Pathology scientific rigour, attention to detail and the challenge of understanding disease at its deepest level — a specialty he trained in at Coimbra, with placements in Dermatology and in Dermatopathology in Ljubljana. Aesthetic medicine lets him combine that knowledge with the human and artistic side of medicine, helping each person feel good about themselves.
For him, being a doctor means working with knowledge, thinking with rigour and caring with the heart. At FACELAB, where he has been Clinical Director in Albufeira since 2024, science and art go hand in hand, respecting each person’s individuality and beauty.

Training in anatomical pathology and dermatopathology brings close attention to skin lesions — and the rule that diagnosis always comes before treatment.
Radiofrequency, laser, focused ultrasound and electromagnetic energy, alone or combined with injectable treatments.
Using ultrasound, whenever indicated, to assess each person’s anatomy and guide injectable procedures.
